“Cedric Finds A Plastic Straw” (30x40cm)

“No To Plastic Forks And Knives” (30x40cm)

“No fishing of Blue Devils. Ever !” (30x40cm)
Most plastic straws that make it into the ocean are either left on the beach, dropped on sidewalks and streets, fall off of boats or blow out of trash cans and transport vehicles. All it takes is a gust of wind or rain storm to push these straws into water ways and into the ocean.
Plastic forks, knives and spoons are ranked among the most harmful types of marine debris to ocean animals.

This colourful, secretive fish is endemic to Australia, where it is a protected species.

“Souped-up Shark” (30x40cm)

"Where Is My School..?" (40x50cm)

“If My Daughter Was A Shrimp” (40x50cm)
The high value and increased market for shark fins is creating huge incentive for fishermen to take the fins and discard the animal, leaving room in the ship’s hold for the more valuable meat of the tuna or swordfish. Shark finning is wasteful, inhumane and unsustainable.

"Self-Care, Clare" (30x40cm)

The Culture Club (40x50cm)
A study at Macquarie University in Sydney found that sharks could recognise jazz if there was food on offer, but are stumped by sound pollution. Noise means stress and impairs the animals’ immune system which makes them more susceptible to illness in general. Whale sharks are migratory and can potentially leave a disturbed area, so Clare can self-care and reduce the negative effects of stress in the future. The Practice of self-care, especially when the world seems so dark, will shed some light into your life and the lives of those around you.
Some nudibranchs have the ability to move their mantle up and down in a kind of ‘can-can’ dance. At least two species of nudibranchs can actually make sounds that are audible to humans! So.. dance like you mean it and be heard.
